Wie alles begann
Wer sich die Seite zu unserem ersten Umzug durch gelesen hat, wird sich fragen, wieso man bereits nach 4 Monaten wieder umzieht. Schließlich hat man viel Arbeit und auch Geld in die Wohnung gesteckt, um sich ein gemütliches Nest zu schaffen.
Um ehrlich zu sein, war der Umzug auch gar nicht eingeplant. Ganz unerwartet erhielt ich am 30.12.09 einen Anruf von unserem zukünftigen Nachbarn. Wir hatten sie mal gebeten, an uns zu denken, wenn eine Wohnung frei wird. Doch das dies so schnell geschieht, damit hätten weder Katrin noch ich gerechnet. Eigentlich war es aber auch nur ein glücklicher Zufall, denn die Wohnung war schon wieder weg. Aber die zukünftigen Nachmieter sind kurzfristig abgesprungen.
Nun steht man also vor der Entscheidung. Wir entschlossen uns, die Wohnung erstmal mit Katrins Eltern anzuschauen. Und wir waren uns sicher, dass wir interessiert sind, sie würde in Frage kommen. Nun war die Frage, ob wir es auch machen wollten. So haben Katrin und ich uns das genau überlegt. Wenn man es genau nimmt, stand die Entscheidung schnell fest. Erstens haben wir die Nase voll davon, in Grasleben mit Ölofen und Kamin zu heizen (die Nachteile werde ich noch mal bei Gelegenheit erläutern). Und zweitens schätzten wir beide die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass in Rhode in absehbarer Zeit wieder eine passende Wohnung frei wird, als sehr gering ein.
So kündigten wir noch am selben Tag unsere alte Wohnung (aufgrund der 3-Monatsfrist) und sagten dem Vermieter der neuen Wohnung zu.
Nun nehmen die Dinge ihren Lauf
